Obedience training is one of the best things
you can do for you and your canine companion.
It opens up communication between you and your
pet. Obedience training prevents almost all
unwanted behaviors that an untrained dog shows.
A dog is a social animal. If left untrained
they do not know what is expected of them. Without
this training they act like animals.
Jumping, soiling in the house, chewing on items
they are not suppose to, bolting when the door
is open, not coming when called, fighting other
dogs or even biting. The key to prevent or treat
behavior problems is learning to teach the dog
to redirect their natural behavior to outlets
that are acceptable in the domestic setting.
Obedience training is also an easy way to establish
social hierarchy. You need to become the pack
leader. Dogs know two things. Lead or follow.
If you are not being the leader then they will.
Thus cause multiple problems in the home setting.
Dogs want to please there owners but if there
is no language then there is only anarchy and
chaos. These
problems can make owning a dog very frustrating
and unpleasant. This is where owners get frustrated
and fed up. A lot of canine companions get placed
in other homes where they carry this unwanted
behavior on. Unfortunately they’re also
taken to the local shelter or you just deal
with an unhappy dog. A dog that possesses these
"problems" is not necessarily a bad
dog. It is a dog that lacks guidance from the
Pack Leader. This is what we specialize in.
Not only do we turn an unhappy, untrained dog
into an obedient, fun loving companion but we
also teach you the owner how to be a pack leader.
This will and does take effort on your part.
It involves training on both the dog and the
owner. Dog
behavior is influenced by genetic and breed
characteristics, as well as the environment
the dog is raised in. Dogs are situational learners.
It is key that you provide the right language
and situation for your canine. That way they
can become the enjoyable companion you’ve
always wanted them to be.
